Adelaide Cottage in Home Park, Windsor, is said to be a generous wedding gift from the Queen to newlyweds Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, a stunning home with a glamorous history.
Meghan and Harry reportedly fell in love with the cottage after they had a viewing of it earlier this summer, reports Mail Online. The couple have wanted to move away from Kennsington Palace and get some privacy away from the other royals as they attempt to settle down and begin family life.
The cottage was described as ‘chastely elegant’ when it was first built and is called ‘picturesque’ by the heritage organisation Historic England. Many on social media are supportive of the gift with one saying: “This is just lovely, I wish the family well and hope they enjoy this marvellous home.”
